We are studying the past tense of about 2,000 common spanish verbs

We are studying the past tense of about 2,000 common spanish verbs..but, don’t worry, because in spanish there are “two” past tenses…Preterito indefinido and preterito imperfecto!  Wow!  So, basically it’s the subtle difference between saying “I gave” and “i used to give”…one is a permanent action and the other is supposed to be “on-going”…you figure!!! Anyway, my studies are going alright and I am learning to communicate on a higher level…one of my goals in coming here.  Georjean is in a beginner spanish class with her very own tutor (just the way it worked out)…she’s working on present tense stuff and is coming along quite nicely…Waylon was in a class of his own with a lot of older kids as young as 16 but some in their 30′s.  Today, he starts with his own private tutor as well (same price so it’s a good deal).  We’ve met a family that home-schools their kids (two girls).  The eldest is 14 and aabout to graduate from High School…We’re going over there after we eat dinne with our family tonight.  I’ll post more about the Boquete family that we’re living with at a later time.

OH No…not definitely not working all the time…Plenty of time for hikes in the mountains…Saturday we went to David (Dah-veed) to hear an indiginous Peruvian group play on the square…wow. Schools oover for the time being and we’re all much better speakers..you should hear Waylon!!! We’ve rented a house in town for 3 months because we like it here, like Boquete, like Panama etc…Come on down!! All well with us considering all the worn tread on the tires.
